Graduated from Allied College in 2009 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science (Massage Therapy). Completed a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training program from Urban Breath Yoga Studio in 2015
I strongly believe the mind and body has the ability to heal itself given the right tools, such as Massage Therapy and Practicing Yoga may be able to help the body and mind.
I absolutely love what I do, being able to help people by giving them a relaxing Massage, or focusing on something more specific is a blessing and I find it very rewarding. The passion for teaching Yoga came later in my career, Yoga has helped me with balance, posture, flexibility, and it also has given me tools to calm my mind, find peace within myself amongst the chaos of life. It has given me a new respect for my mind and body. I realized I wanted to share this Light of Yoga to others and seek a great studio offering a well rounded program.
When I completed Massage Therapy Training I was extremely overweight. I weighed 250lbs and was only 20 years old. I continued to live an unhealthy lifestyle for the next 3 years. I grew up being overweight and it was all I knew. One day I realized that I was unhappy and not living the life that I encouraged my clients to live. With dedication, discipline and will to be happy and healthy I made a lifestyle change. I began to exercise, changed my eating habits and dropped 100lbs . I understand the struggle and really believe if you want something, put that out into the universe and take action, anything can happen.
I enjoy working out, camping, live music, traveling, practicing Circus Style Aerial Silks, and spending time with my husband, our pitbull Cassidy, family and friends.
